The Resideo Honeywell Home PROSiXRPTR RF in an RF wireless receiver and a transmitter that is intended to extend the indoor range of PROSiX series devices. The PROSiXRPTR receives and alarm, status, and control messages from PROSiX series devices, and forwards these messages to the PROA7 or PROA7PLUS wireless control panel(s). The PROA7 series control panel then responds accordingly (arm/disarm the system, initiate an alarm, etc.).
Up to two PROSiXRPTR's can be added to the PROA7 series panel revision 03.591.92 or higher. Once enrolled in the panel the PROSiXRPTR can repeat any PROSiX transmitter Revision 5.0.1 or higher. It will NOT repeat signals from another repeater. If updating the panel allow 24 hous for all PROSiX transmitters to update before installing the PROSiXRPTR repeater.
Before mounting, enroll the PROSiXRPTR to verify adequate signal strength, and relocate if necessary. Once enrolled in a system, the PROSiXRPTR cannot be used with another control until it is removed from the current control. When mounting the PROSiXRPTR make sure to place it as high as possible, keeping it away from metal objects. The range of the repeater is approximately 200 feet through three walls of wood, aluminum and dry wall construction. When using a second repeater the range of the panel and sensors is more than 500 ft. line of site. When two repeaters are needed, install the PROA7 panel in the middle with repeaters on either direction of the panel.
