The Resideo Honeywell Home PROSiXCTV is a wireless two-zone door/window alarm contact, with cover and wall tamper, that is intended for use with control panels that support PROSiX-Series devices. The PROSiXCTV door/window contact is compatible with the ProSeries PROA7, ProSeries PROA7C, ProSeries Canada PROA7CN, ProSeries PROA7PLUS, ProSeries PROA7PLUSC or ProSeries Canada PROA7PLUSCN all-in-one wireless touchscreen control panels. The PROSiXCTV alarm contact should be placed on the doors and windows that you want to protect within 300 feet of the ProSeries panel. This form of perimeter protection provided by this wireless alarm contact serves as the first line of defense against burglary intrusion.
After enrolling and before mounting the PROSiXCTV contact, verify there is adequate signal strength by conducting a sensor test with the device in its intended mounting location. Adjust the device location and orientation if the contact is out of range of the ProSeries panel. The signal strength ranges from 1 to 4 green bars with the minimum 1 green bar being needed for the zone to be programmed. Four red bars indicates poor signal strength and the device should be relocated.
The PROSiXCTV is simple to install with two mounting options. The first option uses the reed switch with magnet. With this option, when installed the magnet gap from the PROSiXCTV contact should be no greater than 0.75 in. (1.9cm) and the break gap is reached when the magent is pulled 1.30" (3.3cm) apart from the contact. The second option is using the optional wiring for the external contact loop with surface wiring or concealed wiring. If using an external contact, connect its wires to the terminal block on the PROSiXCTV contact. Please note that the wiring limit in this case is 3 feet.
When installing, please ensure that the magnet is aligned with the top of the sensor. Next, enroll the devicew in the ProSeries control panel. After enrolling, verify adequate signal signal strength by conducting a sensor test with the device in its intended mounting location. And, if necessary, adjust the device location and orientation.
