The DSC/Qolsys PG9HRDW8 IQ Hardwire PowerG is a wired to wireless converter module, with four (4) HSM2108 expansion slots, that converts existing hardwired zones to PowerG wireless zones. With the PG9HRDW8 IQ Hardwire PowerG you can connect up to 32 hardwired zones wirelessly to a DSC or Qolsys PowerG compatible security system. It's easy to DIY install and is the perfect solution for existing systems or new construction.
With the PG9HRDW8 expansion module, you can effortlessly integrate your traditional wired sensors and devices into a modern wireless network, eliminating the need for extensive rewiring or replacement of existing equipment. This not only saves time and resources but also maximizes the value of your current security investment. The PowerG Wired to Wireless Converter is engineered to provide a quick, easy, and secure method to enhance and modernize outdated security systems. Please note, you need to upgrade the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus firmware to 2.5.3 or higher before enrolling this module. The bell output supports continuous burglary alarms, fire alarms and CO alarms. The AUX1 auxiliary power is used only for burglary alarm initiating devices. And, the AUX2 auxiliary power is used only for fire alarm initiating devices such as smoke, heat and CO detectors.
