The Honeywell LTEM-PV is a tri-path ethernet/wifi/cellular Verizon LTE alarm communicator intended for use with the Resideo VISTA-Series hardwired control panels and other non-Resideo compatible panels. The LTEM-PV advanced modular communicator utilizes the latest Verizon LTE technology specifically designed for IoT devices to communicate.
To install simply connect the LTEM-PV to VISTA control panels or takeover competitive control panel communications with options for dual-path communications of Cellular and WiFi or Cellular and Ethernet. Connect the LTEM-PV to the panels using the Dialer, Keybus or ECP connectors.
The CAT-M1 LTE technology has greater signal strength and power efficiency, improving performance underground and within structures. The LTE CAT-M1 cellular technology is available everywhere that current Verizon LTE wireless network reaches with strong enough reception for consistent connections. The LTEM-PV Communicators easily connect to customers' security system control panels and sends alarms and messages to AlarmNet for transfer to the AlarmClub central monitoring station.
The LTEM-PV communicator must be mounted indoors. When choosing a suitable mounting location, understand that signal strength is very important to proper operation. For most installations using the internal antenna, mounting the unit as high as practical, and avoiding large metal components provides adequate signal strength for proper orientation.
Resideo offers secure web-based services that enable users to remotely monitor and control their security system. These web services enable users to; monitor and control their security system or smartphone, receive email notifications of system events, and receive event confirmations.
Product Features:
LTE CAT-1 Cell Radio Module for enhanced cellular Verizon radio features (model PROLTE series)
WiFi/Z-Wave Module for WiFi connection to the Internet and/or for control of home automation devices (model PROWIFIZW)
Dialer Capture Module for use with control panels that send Contact ID signals via Dialer (model PRODCM)
WiFi Module for WiFi connection to Internet
Quick connection to Resideo control panels and non-Resideo compatible control panels (see panel compatibility)
Supports both ECP and Bus connections to compatible control panels
Power supplied by a 9VDC power adapter (included)
Supports dynamic or static IP addressing, and installs behind firewalls without compromising network security (provided that the communication path includes IP)
Supports connection to the internet via Ethernet cable or WiFi (WiFi requires installation of PROWIFIZW module) - only one method can be used, ethernet or WiFi, not both
Reports fire, burglary, and status messages via the internet
Please Note: To transmit data over the Primary-WiFi communication path with Backup-Cellular AT&T communication, a local alarm technician with AlarmNet 360 software is required onsite. Since GeoArm is a remote DIY alarm company, unfortunately we are unable to support this preferred signaling manner.
