GeoSCO2 Product Description:
The GeoSCO2 is a wireless GeoSeries™ encrypted smoke and carbon monoxide sensor that the presence of smoke and/or carbon monoxide gas in a home or building. Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odorless, colorless, tasteless gas that can be lethal in high concentrations, making carbon monoxide detection critical for maintaining the safety of building occupants. This wireless combination smoke/heat detector is designed to be integrated into the GeoAlarm wireless home security system platform. When the GeoSCO2 sensor detects smoke or CO gas, it will then transmit an alarm notification to the GeoAlarm control panel (GeoCP-AT/GeoCP-VZ), end-user, and AlarmClub central monitoring station informing everyone selected of an alarm initiating event.

GeoSCO2 Installation Tips:
For maximum protection, it is recommended to install the GeoSCO2 smoke/carbon monoxide sensors in several areas of your home or building.
Here are some guidelines to consider:
1. Install at least one smoke/carbon monoxide detector on every level of your home, including the basement and attic.
2. Install a detector in every bedroom or sleeping area.
3. Install detectors in areas where there is a fuel-burning appliance, such as a furnace, water heater, or stove.
4. Install a detector in the hallway near the kitchen, to detect any smoke or carbon monoxide from cooking.
5. Install a detector in a central location, such as the living room or family room.
