The GeoAlarm panel uses two separate "dual" communication paths to transmit alarm signals, through the GeoAlarm Cloud, to the end-user. This dual-path communication ensures that the alarm signals are received even if one communication path fails. First, the GeoAlarm will attempt to transmit the primary alarm signal over your local Wi-Fi network. Rest assured, if your Wi-Fi network is down the GeoAlarm panel will then transmit the alarm signal over the cellular AT&T/Verizon LTE backup network.
How GeoAlarm Signals are Sent to End-User?
1. Primary Communication Path: Wi-Fi Network 2. Backup Communication Path: Cellular AT&T/Verizon LTE Network(s)
Our GeoAlarm DIY Bronze App lets you control your home security from a single application. Stay connected from anywhere. Receive real-time alarm status and arm or disarm your home security system remotely. Get instant alerts in the event of a security alarm, or simply to be notified when your family arrives home.
DIY Interactive Bronze Level Features:
Carrier Outage Supervision - monitors the connection between the GeoAlarm security system and the AT&T/Verizon LTE carrier network. If the connection is lost due to a carrier outage, the security system will send an alert to the monitoring center to notify them of the outage. This ensures that the security system remains operational even during network outages.
System Sabotage Protection - from burglars who try to disable your GeoAlarm security system by smashing the control panel. If the system detects that the control panel has been tampered with or destroyed, it will send an alert to the AlarmClub monitoring center, which will then notify the authorities. This ensures that your property is always protected, even if the burglars try to disable your GeoAlarm security system.
Remote Arm/Disarm - your GeoAlarm system from anywhere, as long as you have an internet or cellular connection.
Text/Email Message and Push Alerts - when the GeoAlarm system has detected some sort of activity, such as motion or a door opening, and is notifying you of the event via a text SMS, email message and/or push notifications. The GeoAlarm sensor alerts can be customized by the end-user up to using any or all 3 text/email/push notification styles at once!
Zone Status - refers to the current state of each individual GeoAlarm zone or area that is being monitored. This could include whether a door or window is open or closed, whether motion has been detected in a certain area, or whether there has been a breach in a specific zone. The zone status is important for monitoring and responding to potential security threats.
Event History - refers to a log of all the events that have occurred on the GeoAlarm security system, such as alarms, system disarms, and sensor activations. This log can be used to track system activity and identify any potential issues or security breaches.
