Honeywell 5800MINI Product Description:
The Honeywell 5800MINI is a wireless miniature door and window contact designed for the Honeywell LYNX, Lyric, ProSeries and VISTA control panels. The 5800MINI contact comes in a white-color which is perfect to install on white colored doors or windows. The Honeywell 5800MINI provides all of the advantages of Honeywell field-proven, quick-install 5800-Series wireless devices, with the addition of signal transmission and low-battery LED indicators. It virtually disappears when installed and blends with any décor, making it ideal for applications where aesthetics are critical such as ornate doors, casements and double-hung windows. The 5800MINI provides a single zone of protection and installs easily on doors or windows with the included double-sided adhesive tape.
Choose a mounting location where the 5800MINI is stationary and the magnet is mounted to the moving part of the door or window. Verify adequate signal strength by using the control panel's Go/No Go test before mounting permanently. Just place the device on a window or door, and when a magnet is within range, a blue LED will light up ensuring proper placement (Blue LED - Magnet is within range of the sensor; Green LED - Sensor is transmitting; Red LED - Low Battery warning).
Mount the 5800MINI on the frame of the protected door or window using the double-faced tape (supplied). Mount the magnet (supplied) on the protected door or opening portion of the protected window. Check the blue LED lights when the door or window is closed. The 5800MINI transmitter operates on a 7-digit serial number and a loop number that must be programmed into a wireless zone in the control. When it senses a fault condition, it will send a fault signal to the control. The unit will not send the restore signal until the physical contact is restored.
Please note, to avoid mounting in areas where it will be exposed to moisture or where the operating temperature of 32° to 120° F will be exceeded. Also, keep the 5800MINI and magnet away from metal or metallic surfaces such as foil wallpaper. Lastly, avoid mounting the 5800MINI in areas with a large quantity of metal or electrical wiring, such as a furnace or utility room.

LED Indicators
- Blue: Lights when the magnet is within proper range of the 5800MINI (1 inch max.). LED is active for 15 minutes after battery is first installed or when the cover is removed.
- Green: Flashes when the 5800MINI transmits. LED is active for 15 minutes after battery is first installed or when cover is removed.
- Red: Upon low battery condition, flashes once about every five seconds for two minutes after a transmission.
