The 2GIG-DW30E-900 wireless, E+ extended range encrypted, outdoor alarm contact is designed to be installed on outside objects that open and close. The 2GIG DW30E-900 door/window contact is an all weather security solution that sends alarm signals to the 2GIG EDGE control panel (FW 1.3 or later is required), when a magnet mounted near the sensor is moved away from or closer to the sensor's transmitter.
The E+ series provides expanded, reliable security coverage to large, multi-level homes and light commercial facilities The door/window sensor also comes equipped with a cover tamper for additional security. It communicates with the EDGE wireless control panel using the secure 900 MHz frequency spectrum.
Designed to withstand extreme temperatures from -40° to 140°F, the 2GIG-DW30E-900 is an IP56 rated sensor that is ready to protect property in any region in various weather conditions. Its versatile design allows for easy installation on gates, garages or poles, making it perfect for curved spaces. With a range of up to 2KM* and a 5-year battery life, it provides comprehensive and reliable security.

*Wireless range can vary depending on building materials
Mount Sensors within range of the Control Panel: Although the transmitter may have a range of 2 KM (1.2 miles) open air, the sensor location can have a significant effect on range. In open/unobstructed situations, the transmitter range may be greater. In adverse wireless conditions, changing the sensor orientation may lead to improved range.
Mount Sensors at Least 4.7 in (12 cm) Above the Ground: Placing sensors slightly above floor level helps to minimize possible sensor damage.
Single vs. Double Door Installation: For single?door installation, mount the sensor on the door frame and the magnet on the door. For double?door installation, mount the sensor on the least?used door and the magnet on the most?used door.
Do Not Expose Sensors to Moisture or Extreme Temperature: It is best to mount sensors in a dry location where the operating temperature do not exceed -40° to 150°F (-40° to 66°C).
Keep Sensors and Magnets Away from Metal/Metallic Surfaces: To keep sensors and magnets away from metal or metallic surfaces (for example, foil wallpaper), it is recommended that you use spacers (not included). You should also avoid mounting sensors in areas where there is a large quantity of metal or electrical wiring (for example, near a furnace or in a utility room).
Align Magnet with Sensor: Make sure the alignment arrow on the magnet points to the center alignment mark on the sensor.
